Wonder how to calculate your GPA? It’s not hard. You’ll want to include ALL ATTEMPTED lower and upper division coursework. To calculate your Quality Points, multiply the number of credits for each class by your grade. If you’re majoring in political science, you’ll need at least a C- for the course to count toward the major.
To get your GPA, add up all your Quality Points and divide by your total number of credits.
|IAFS 1000||4||A||4 X 4.0 = 16|
|PHIL 3260||3||B+||3 X 3.3 = 9.9|
|PSCI 2012||3||C-||3 X 1.7 = 5.1|
|SPAN 3000||5||F||5 X 0.0 = 0.0|
15 credits 31.0 Quality Points
GPA = 31.0 divided by 15 = 2.067
The portal also has a handy GPA calculator that will help you determine your term and cumulative GPA based on the courses you’ve already taken and the courses in which you are currently enrolled.
