About Felicia
I moved to Denver in order to work with you all in October 2010 — and I love it here. I’m originally from Southern California and Las Cruces, New Mexico. I attended New Mexico State University where I received my Bachelor’s in Spanish and Latin American Studies and my Master’s in Communication Studies and a minor in Government. The best experiences in my undergrad education were studying abroad. I went abroad twice, to Ronda, Spain and Quetzeltenango, Guatemala.
I have spent the last ten years working in education and government and bring these experiences to my advising. My favorite part of being an advisor is getting to know students. My hope is that all of my students feel comfortable coming to me in times of troubles or successes. If I can’t find an answer for you, I’ll at least point you in the right direction.
I spend my free time on music (you can always come by my office to listen to music or suggest new artists I should be listening to), food and my kids.
